STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- — Folks gathered in Starkville today to benefit the Palmer Home for Children. The inaugural Southern Soiree held at the Stables on Woodside Drive, featured music, southern fare and southern cuisine. Guests at today’s event were also able to participate in a silent auction which featured a football signed by Dan Mullen and a baseball signed by Roy Oswalt. The Palmer home provides free services to children throughout the state of Mississippi. All proceeds from today’s event will go directly to the Palmer Home.
