AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – A group of Amory residents is raising money to keep a special building open in their town.

On Friday, the non-profit group, The Windows of Amory, hosted its fifth annual holiday market.

17 local vendors were there selling handmade items like pottery and jewelry, with all proceeds going toward the Windows building – the oldest church building in town.

Organizers say it’s important to keep this building maintained. It’s not only historical, but used often in their community.

The holiday market runs through Saturday.

You can also check out a production of the Nutcracker there next month.
