MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Tupelo woman, who admitted to robbing a Smithville bank, will spend 41-months in jail. 21-year-old Johnnica Williams was sentenced in federal court Wednesday (8-29) to the jail time and three years probation. Williams was arrested on January 10 in Lee County after robbing the Renasant Bank branch armed with a gun. She was charged with armed robbery and faced life in prison.
