Taylor Arrested by TPD for Burglary of Dwelling and Third DUI

TUPELO, Miss. (Press Release) — Tupelo resident Michael Taylor, 48, was arrested for burglary of a dwelling and a third DUI offense.

At about 10 p.m. March 31, officers responded to reports of a possible burglary of a dwelling at a residence located on Clayton Street. The homeowner(s) reported missing to police home electronics, decorative items and various home furnishings.  That same night, at about 11:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on West Jackson Street in response to reports of a disturbance.  Upon arrival on the scene, officers located Taylor and arrested him for a felony DUI warrant.

The officers noticed that the stolen items from the earlier report were in Taylor’s residence.

Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Taylor’s bond at $10,000.
