FULTON, MISS. (WCBI) – Tickets are still available to see two stars from the most popular reality television series, and you can help a worthy cause at the same time. Willie and Korie Robertson, of the A & E television series “Duck Dynasty” will be at the Davis Event Center on the Fulton ICC Campus June 30th.  They are part of a fundraiser organized by April’s Angels to raise 100 thsouadnd dollars for a handicapped accessible playground at the Itawamba Attendence Center.  Willie and Korie will be speaking on “Family, Faith and Football.” Organizers say they have pulled out all the stops for this fundraiser and they want to give special needs children opportunities to enjoy a playground tailor made for them. The playground is also expected to benefit the entire school.

“ This playground is going to mean a lot for the special needs children to be able to experience things they haven’t been able to experience, these kids are going to be able to access this playground , using a wheelchair or walker and being able to go down a slide for the first time, or being able to actually sit in a swing,” said Emily Mabus, of April’s Angels.

By the way, April’s Angels is named in honor of April South, an IAC preschool teacher who died suddenly two years ago. Tickets are available at Approved Auto Sales in Fulton and also online. You can order tickets at www.showclix.com
