Even though January first is still a few days away There are steps you can take today to help you keep that New Years resolution.
Among those is cutting back your cigarette use over the weekend before stopping in earnest Tuesday
“Smoking is a learned behavior so the one thing you have to remember is that it is something that can be unlearned. Today what you can do is take your cigarettes if you are committed to quitting take your cigarettes and put them somewhere that it is very inconvenient for you to get to them like in the trunk of your car,” says Carrie White, Baptist Golden Triangle.
White adds that smoking cessation classes and stop smoking aids are also effective in helping kick the habit.
