MANTACHIE, Miss. (AP) – State officials say an automotive supplier is poised make an economic development announcement Friday in northeast Mississippi.
Gov. Phil Bryant is scheduled to join local officials in Mantachie for the announcement by Toyota Boshoku.
The company makes automotive interior systems, powertrain components and automotive filters.
Toyota Boshoku shares a history with Toyota Motor Corp., which started manufacturing vehicles in 2011 near the northeast Mississippi town of Blue Springs.
The two towns are about 30 miles apart, near Tupelo.
Details about Friday’s announcement were not immediately available.
