Tupelo Woman Dies In One Car Accident

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A Tupelo woman was killed Wednesday night after her car ran off the Natchez Trace and hit a tree.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green said the crash happened about a mile south of the Natchez Trace Visitors Center.

Corrie Carson, 68, was not wearing a seat belt, and died about 10:20 P.M. Wednesday at North Mississippi Medical Center.
