Video: CCSD Offers Reward for Information Leading to Escapee’s Capture

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Clay County investigators are hoping a reward of up to $1,000 will lead them to 23-year-old Marquis Boyd.

Boyd escaped the Clay County Detention Center Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say he is approximately 5-foot-7-inches tall.

Sheriff Eddie Scott said anyone caught helping Boyd can be charged with a crime.

Boyd escaped from the same jail last July.

Anyone with information regarding Boyd’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Department or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
