Video: Final Plans made for ‘Touchdowns for Tornado Relief’ Camp

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A fundraiser that will help those impacted by last month’s tornado will also give youngsters a chance take part in a football camp with top athletes for coaches.

On Thursday, organizers and volunteers met ironing out details for the event, called “Touchdowns for Tornado Relief.” It all takes place June 28th at Robins Field in Tupelo and will feature a football camp for 7 to 12 year olds. Some of the athletes who will be coaching include, former MSU and now NFL player, Chad Bumphis, Romaro Miller, of the University of Mississippi, Jeremy Benton of LSU and many more. All proceeds will go to the Create Foundation’s Tornado Relief Fund. Participants will also get lunch and a t shirt.
