BLUE SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Toyota plant in Blue Springs does more than just produce the Corolla.

It has also been the site of higher education, thanks to the Toyota Education Endowment and Mississippi State University.

Since January, 22 area high school students have come to the plant to take a course in web application development from MSU professors.

On Saturday, the students presented their original designs to their teachers and Toyota officials.
