WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – There was a pretty good turn out Saturday in downtown West Point as local residents hit to the streets to show off their unique pieces of art. The Historic Downtown Art Walk is West Point’s third major art festival throughout the year and is sponsored by the West Point/Clay County Arts Council and the Mississippi Arts Commission. The day was filled with fun, arts and fellowship featuring local and regional artists. Artwork showcased in downtown included pottery, acrylic painting, metal sculptures and even handmade jewelry. Local performing artists were also featured at different locations throughout the day.
