STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)–Many Mississippi State University students traded in their backpacks for business attire and resumes.
MSU hosted their annual career day with more than 175 businesses that allowed students and alumni to share their work experiences with companies from Honda to Regions Bank.
This gives students the chance to meet future employers and line up a job as they get ready to graduate.
One student believes career day helps students prep for the real interview.
“To come here to the coliseum and just talk to everybody that’s hiring in your major or maybe somebody who can better access your skills it makes the hiring process a lot easier on a senior,” says Danny Thompson.
MSU hosts this career fair every February and September.
