Video: Pontotoc Home to New TrusSteel Location

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI) — One of the nation’s largest maker of steel building products is coming to Pontotoc.

TrusSteel is opening a new roll forming and distribution center in a 150,000-square-foot building in Pontotoc.

Renovations of the building are under way, and production should start late this year. It will employ ten people, initially making parts for steel truss systems for non-residential construction.

It’s part of a string of good news for the city.

Pontotoc Mayor Jeff Stafford along with other city and county leaders are expected to announce two other new industries Monday.

One will be going in the old Wilton building which the city has purchased, and is being renovated with a $500,000 state grant.
