Video: Starkville Restaurant Week Kicks Off

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Restaurant Week in Starkville is back. It’s the third year that dozens of local eateries have added a good cause to the menu.
WCBI’s Alyssa Martin has more on how eating out is helping everyone win.

“Starkville restaurant week is more than about showcasing great food throughout the town, it’s also a time to honor and raise awareness for charities and the work they’re doing around Starkville. Here’s how it works, visit a participating restaurant, there you will find a voting box just like this, servers will give you these ballots for you to cast your vote on, pick 1 of 3 charities you would like to honor. And some restaurants are also offering special discounts for completed ballots.
The charity will win 5,000 dollars from Cadence Bank. We’ll keep you updated on restaurant week. Back to you in the studio.”
