Video: Three Charged in 6 Year-Old Kemper County Girl’s Kidnapping

KEMPER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-She showed up sopping wet to a residents home after being abducted from her elementary school. Now, three women have been accused in the kidnapping of the 6 year-old Kemper County Jashayla Hospon one of the three women being the secretary from the girls elementary school. 54-year-old Jesse Mae Brown Pollard was charged last week with taking Jashayla Markayia Hopson from East Kemper Elementary School. On Friday, 51-year-old Wanda Faye Dancy and 25-year-old Shamarius Ruffin were both arrested in Meridian in connection with the case. All three women are charged with kidnapping. Pollard allegedly took the child for “leverage” in order to get some land back. Pollard was denied bond and she remains in federal custody. Ruffin and Dancy have a preliminary hearing this week.
