1 Shot, 2 Assaulted In Lowndes County Home Invasion

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – One person is shot and two others injured in a late Wednesday night home invasion in Lowndes County.

Investigators say just before midnight, at least two black males entered the Tabernacle Road home.

They were armed and wearing camouflage and black clothing.

The person that was shot is in stable condition.

Deputies say the other two victims were assaulted and will recover.

No arrests have been made.

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
