Ace Cannon Room

Calhoun, Miss. (WCBI) — Calhoun City residents are showing their appreciation for a talented saxophone player from their town.

They revealed the Ace Cannon room this afternoon, to honor the man known as The Godfather of Sax.

The room is filled with album covers, posters, photos, and even his first saxophone.

The ace cannon trio also made an appearance performing some of their favorite hits.

Many of Ace’s fans, are also his friends, and would travel to see him play in a nearby city.

Joseph Beasley, a long time friend said, ” He is good to everybody and he enjoys being with people, and I always enjoy being with him.”

The Ace Cannon Room is located next to city hall, and may be viewed during regular business hours.
