Video: 200 Jobs Heading to Sulligent

SULLIGENT, AL. ( WCBI) — About two hundred jobs will soon be coming to Sulligent.

Max Home Furniture is moving into this warehouse that has been vacant for about 8 years.

The furniture company is based in Fulton and is expected to hire between 150 to 200 people.

“You see the expansion in Huntsville, they created 2,000 jobs with Polaris, but you take percentage wise and two hundred jobs in Sulligent is probably percentage wise, bigger than 2,000 jobs in Huntsville,” says Mayor Scott Boman.

Max Home Furniture is expected to start preliminary operations in about two weeks.
