16-year-old arrested in connection to Columbus McDonald’s shooting
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An arrest is made in a recent shooting at the East Columbus McDonald’s that left one employee injured.
Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton said 16-year-old Jaylin Hodges turned himself in to Columbus Police Monday.
Hodges is charged with aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Last week, police arrested 18-year-old Antwan Roland in connection to the case.
The shooting took place on Christmas Eve.
Detectives believe the incident happened after an argument over payment for the food in the drive-thru line.
The driver is accused of driving to the other side of the restaurant and shooting into the building.
22-year-old Tyrei Johnson is still wanted for traffic violations and questioning in the incident.
