18-wheeler overturns in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – First responders in Starkville spent much of Monday morning trying to get an 18-wheeler from out of a ditch.

According to police, the incident happened just after 10 a.m. at the intersections of Highway 82 and 25.

Police said the truck veered off the road and rolled down into the ditch.

The 18-wheeler was carrying 4,000 pounds of plastic powder.

Crews spent hours trying to get the overturned truck out of the muddy area.

No injuries were reported.
