18-wheeler overturns on HWY 45 in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two drivers escaped serious injury after an 18-wheeler overturned in Lowndes County.

The accident happened on Highway 45 North, near Gatlin Road, about 2 p.m.

An 18-wheeler overturned in the northbound lane and landed in the median.

A Ford truck was also involved in the crash.

Both drivers have non life-threatening injuries.

State troopers are investigating the crash.
