18-wheeler runs off Highway 82

GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The morning commute was a bit long for some Golden Triangle drivers.

An 18-wheeler ran off of Highway 82, in Lowndes County Thursday morning.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said no one was injured and fence near the highway was not damaged.

One lane of traffic was closed, as crews worked to get the rig out of the ditch.

Highway 82 is now open.
