4-County CEO to step down in September

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – 4-County Electric Power Association’s CEO and General Manager will soon step down.

Joe Cade’s last day will be September 30.

He started his career at 4-County in 1983, then made stops in Alabama and Georgia before returning to North Mississippi.

Accomplishments under Cade’s watch include advances in technology, payment options, safety and the creation of the 4-County Foundation.

The cooperative has also played an instrumental role in economic development in the area.

Cade has been the head of 4-County for eight years.

His replacement could be named by this fall.
