4-County Electric Dons Pink Hard Hats To Fight Breast Cancer

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – If your riding around in Starkville, don’t be surprised if you see pink hard hats on some workers.

4-County Electric Power workers, are sporting pink hard hats, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Employees at the Starkville office, received their special hard hats this morning, October 3.

The company wants to honor those, who are fighting the disease, and remind people to donate towards cancer research.

Joe Miller of 4 County Electric says, “In 2008, I lost my mother to this dreadful disease and I got to thinking about what could we do as a company for our community and our members, to help enhance the month October being breast cancer awareness month. and in doing so I thought about the pink hard hats and I spoke to our lineman about it and they were on board.”
