Friendly atmosphere as Webster County residents wait on election results

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- In Webster County, the energy level was electric, as dozens sat outside the new courthouse, waiting for election results to pour in on Tuesday.

The parking lot at the Walthal facility almost looked more like a tailgate party.

Several people, from across Webster County, brought their lawn chairs, and tents, and just sat waiting for the updated numbers.

There was even some fun for the kids.

Many folks there said they’re excited for new leadership in their community.
