Electric line installation forces road closure in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Drivers in Tupelo will have to change course Wednesday.

Tupelo Water and Light announced Jackson Street will be closed as crews work to install underground electric lines.

The closure will impact the section from Clayton Avenue to Park Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Magnolia Drive will remain open for traffic.
