Oktibbeha County house fire being investigated as arson

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss (WCBI)- The Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a house fire as arson.

Early Monday morning, around 5:30 a.m., Central Oktibbeha Fire and Rescue responded to a call of a house fire at Finley Drive in the Sunset Subsivision.

Fire Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan told WCBI, the unoccupied house was not completely burned down, adding it did not appear to be accidental.

Officials have yet to track down a suspect and a motive.

There were no injuries reported.
