Rain and Storms On The Way
TONIGHT: Look for a mostly clear to partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will fall generally into the middle 60s out there. Winds remain light out of the south 0-5 mph.
WEDNESDAY: A few more clouds Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 80s. Winds out of the south around 5-10 mph with perhaps gusts a bit higher. An isolated downpour or two can’t be ruled out during the day.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: We anticipate a few isolated to scattered showers and storms to push in. It won’t be a washout but the trend remains ‘up’ on our chances for rain and storms heading into Thursday. Lows fall into the middle 60s.
THURSDAY: Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected. Look for highs to climb into the middle 80s again with lows into the middle 60s. South winds remain generally between 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY – SATURDAY: We anticipate scattered to numerous showers and storms. A frontal boundary sliding through loses its momentum and stalls out over us. That in combination with a developing area of low pressure to our west helps increase chances and push them unfortunately into the weekend.
We don’t anticipate it to be a washout, but have plans to move indoors. Remember, if thunder roars, go indoors.
SUNDAY – EARLY NEXT WEEK: We think that we’ll clear things out and usher in a little bit of drier air. At best, lower chances for rain and storms exist with highs in the 80s and lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
