A Great Start to the Week!

SUNDAYMONDAY: Mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Lows in the upper 60s and low 70s to start off the week. A slight chance to see some scattered showers or storms in the area but they won’t be much to be concerned about.  Look for lower humidity values helping to keep the heat index in check.
TUESDAY: Trending cooler and drier as we head forward with temperatures still in the upper 80s and low 90s.  A better chance for an isolated shower or two but still looks mostly dry.

WEDNESDAY-NEXT WEEKEND: A daily chance for scattered showers or storms as our low pressure system that passed through Friday/Saturday becomes cut off from the atmospheric flow.  It will battle drifting west with an area of high pressure focused to our north.  If the low cuts back to the west a little further, that means more chances for storms, but if the high pressure wins, then more north winds with drier air.  As of now, we’re betting on at least some showers and storms in the area, with better chances for more into the weekend as another weather system pushes into our area.  Look for highs to be back into the upper 80s to low 90s, climbing a little bit throughout the week. Lows will remain in the low 70s.
