Pleasant Thanksgiving, Rain Returns Friday Evening
THANKSGIVING DAY: Plan on a mostly sunny and pleasant day with highs around 60, give or take. You’ll be able to get outside after dinner to burn off some of those calories! Heading to the Egg Bowl in Oxford? Plan on mainly clear skies during the game along with temperatures cooling into the 40s. Lows Thursday night should be in the upper 30s.
FRIDAY: The first half of the day will feature increasing cloudiness and dry conditions. Wet weather is likely by late afternoon and into the evening. Highs top out in the 50s. Have your wet weather gear ready if you’ll be heading out to Friday night football. Showers continue Friday night but most of them will be out of here by sunrise Saturday. Lows Friday night will be in the upper 40s to around 50.
SATURDAY: A few showers may linger early but fair weather is going to win out as the day wears on. Warmer highs in the mid to possibly upper 60s are looking more and more likely.
SUNDAY: A few showers are possible but the system forecast to move through continues to look moisture starved. Highs stay well into the 60s.
NEXT WEEK: Quiet weather returns along with below average temperatures. We may be only around 50 for highs Monday and Tuesday.
