Warming Up Through Rest Of The Week; Strong Storms Late Week.

TODAY: Mainly sunny today, with highs in the low 50s. Clouds build in overnight, with lows in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY: We may squeeze out a few isolated showers Thursday, but it won’t be a washout by any stretch. Mostly cloudy, with highs in the low 60s. We remain cloudy overnight with a few showers possible and lows in the mid to upper 50s.

FRIDAY/SATURDAY: Showers possible during the day Friday with highs around 70°. Overnight, showers and storms will move through the area ahead of a cold front. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, with straight-line winds being the primary threat. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out in this event, although they appear to be a secondary threat right now. These storms will roll through during the overnight and early morning hours Saturday, meaning our overnight lows will only drop into the 60s. The severe weather threat will continue into the first half of Saturday, but storms should be exiting our area by the afternoon. High temperatures in the low to mid 70s Saturday, and staying dry Saturday night with lows in the 50s.

SUNDAY: The models have struggled a bit beyond Saturday, but for now we will keep the rain chance off the board for Sunday. High temperatures around 70°.
