Milder Weather Ahead, Rainy Next Week.
TODAY: Highs in the upper 50s and low 60s under partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. An isolated shower will be possible today, with the best chance for a shower northwest of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Winds out of the southeast at 5-12 mph. Partly cloudy overnight with lows in the upper 30s.
WEEKEND: Highs in the mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies. An isolated shower will be possible both Saturday and Sunday, but the overall rain chance will remain low. Lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.
NEXT WEEK: Showers and thunderstorms become more scattered next week as highs climb into the upper 60s and low 70s, with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s. A cold front will move through the area late next week. While the models have been a little different on the timing of the front, it looks like this front will push through on Friday, bringing widespread rain and cooler weather into next weekend.
