Quiet Valentine’s Day Coming

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Scattered high clouds are going to drift through the region but it’ll otherwise be quiet and cool. Lows will fall back into the mid and upper 30s. Southerly winds increase during the night.

THURSDAY: Look for a mix of clouds and sun on Valentine’s Day. Southerly breezes increase between 10 and 20 mph but that will boost daytime highs into the 60s. Plan on 50s during the evening and overnight hours into Friday morning.

FRIDAY: While a few showers/sprinkles will be possible during the morning the best chance of showers looks to be during the afternoon and evening. Highs top out in the 60s once again.

WEEKEND: A stalled frontal boundary will keep the chance of showers going with the odds hovering around 30% for now. Upper 50s are favored Saturday with 60s returning on Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures may bob up and down through the middle of the week due to the presence of a frontal boundary. Rain chances look to go up dramatically Monday night into Tuesday as a wave of energy rides up along the front.
