A Tupelo woman faces aggravated assault charges

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- The suspect in a Tupelo shooting is now in custody.

24-year-old Madison Lee Miles turned herself into Tupelo Police on September 4.

Miles allegedly shot a man in the leg on 500 Lakeview Drive on Saturday around 6 a.m.

The victim told officers he and his girlfriend were arguing outside.

Miles was there as a guest and she allegedly started shooting.

He was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center for treatment and later released.

Miles faces aggravated assault charges.
