Wiseman Says 2 Terms As Mayor Are Enough

STARKVILLE (WCBI) – A new face will occupy the Starkville mayors office after the next election.

Mayor Parker Wiseman says he will not seek a third term in office.   Wiseman confirmed his decision on his Twitter account earlier this morning.   In an Commercial Dispatch article Wiseman cites the fact he has accomplished much of what he set out to do and the fact he is expecting his third child next spring as motivating factors to step away.   The Democrat says he is not totally ruling out a return to politics at some point.
