More Storms with Almost Chilly Air Behind It
SUNDAY NIGHT: Temperatures fall into the mid to upper 50s. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds. An isolated shower can’t be ruled out to the north, but again most stay dry.
MONDAY: We’ll start the day with perhaps a shower or two, but again most stay dry. The pesky front will lift back to the north and clear us out with south winds 5-15 mph with higher gusts by Monday afternoon. Highs will be heading for the upper 70s and even low 80s with plenty of sunshine.
TUESDAY: Look for highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s along with southerly winds. Showers are and storms are possible during the afternoon, evening, and overnight hours going into Wednesday morning. Some of the storms could be on the strong side so we’ll be sure to keep you updated as time goes by.
WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY: Much cooler as temperatures are in the 60s both days with more sunshine than not.
FRIDAY/WEEKEND: We’re watching for yet another system to come swinging through helping to bring more rain and storms, and even another crack at some cooler air behind it.
EXTENDED OUTLOOK: The second week of April looks to trend cooler than normal. It appears that we’ll keep bringing in cooler air from the north more than allowing the warm gulf air to return. This would point towards a few days with highs in the 60s again.
