Dry To Start The Week, But Rain Returns
TONIGHT: Rain showers will clear out overnight leaving overcast skies. Winds will remain from the north and that will allow cooler air to continue to push south. Temperatures will drop into the mid 30s overnight.
MONDAY: A stray rain shower or two may develop Monday morning, but most stay dry. Clouds will contue to linger leaving mostly cloudy skies. Temperature will be in the low 50s during the day and the low 40s overnight.
TUESDAY: Warmer and drier air will push into the region. Highs will reach into the mid 60s while overnight lows stay in the mid 50s. Some clouds will clear through the afternoon and evening and we may actually see some sunshine.
WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: Warm air continues to push into the region, but moisture will surge in from the gulf. This will lead to some low end rain chances throughout the second half of the work week. Highs will be in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s while overnight lows stay in the upper 50s.
NEXT WEEKEND: Another front looks to push in from the north and that will interact with the gulf moisture once again. This will lead to some more widespread rain. Highs will be much closer to normal, back into the mid 50s.
