Rainy Through Thursday

TODAY: Scattered showers through the day, with more consistent rainfall north of US 278, especially along the US 72 corridor. Highs in the 70s. Southwest winds could gust to 20 mph. Overnight, scattered showers continue, and possibly a thunderstorm after midnight. Temperatures drop into the 60s overnight.

THURSDAY: A line of showers and storms in the morning could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Scattered showers behind the initial line of rain may last into the early afternoon. High temperatures will likely be set immediately after midnight, but temps will slowly drop to the low 60s in the afternoon. 2 day rainfall totals will range across our area from around an inch to around 5 inches along the highway 72 corridor. Flooding is likely across parts of the area. We dry out Thursday night. Lows in the 30s.

FRI/SAT/SUN: Quiet and sunny weather as we round out the week. Highs climb from the low 60s Friday to the upper 60s Sunday, with lows climbing from around freezing Friday night to upper 40s Sunday night.

MON/TUE: Scattered showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast. Highs in the mid 60s Monday and Tuesday, with a low Monday night in the upper 40s.
