Video: Aberdeen High Celebrates Improvements

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Aberdeen High students are officially on summer vacation, but looking back on this school year they have a lot to proud of .

This year 75 out of 76 seniors graduated.

Principal Garth says the high numbers are thanks to students and teachers focusing on the right things.

” We want to make sure that all of our students have an opportunity to succeed. That’s what we’re here for, the children so we’re trying to make sure they do the best that they can, ”  he says.

ACT scores also went up this year.

Garth says, that has been one of his goals for the school.
