Aberdeen Leaders Consider Complaint Filed by Citizen

ABERDEEN, Miss. – (WCBI) A complaint filed against an Aberdeen officer back in the fall still has not been settled.

Cleveland Brown of Aberdeen made his case Tuesday evening in front of the Aberdeen Board of Alderman. Brown claims that back in October, his vehicle was unlawfully towed and that he had a heated exchange with a patrolman.

Brown says he wants to be reimbursed for the towing cost. Aberdeen city leaders discussed the issue in executive session. Brown has been asked to file more paperwork.

City leaders have tabled the issue, and will bring it back at their next meeting in two weeks.
