Accused Shooter Identified In Saturday’s Shooting In Winston County

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Winston County Sheriff’s Department continues to look for Saturday’s suspected shooter.

Chief Deputy Keith Alexander says Bo Miller is the person of interest.

Miller is accused of shooting 42-year old Kevin Edward Duell and then fleeing the scene.

Alexander says an argument between the two men led to the shooting at a residence where they both lived.

It happened around noon on Saturday off Pearson Road.

Duell suffered a single gunshot wound to the lower stomach.

He is currently in Jackson at the University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Alexander says the shooting wasn’t a random act and deputies don’t believe Miller is a danger to the community.

If you have any information on Miller’s whereabouts call the Winston County Sheriff’s Department or Winston County Crime Stoppers at 662-773-9999.
