Airevac needed for Winston County wreck on Highway 25

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – At least two people are injured in a Highway 25 crash in Winston County.

The accident happened near Antioch Loop and Bluff Lake Road, around 1 p.m.

A 2003 Chevrolet Impala rear ended a 2015 Dodge Journey flipping both vehicles off the road.

Vivian Broussard, 88, a passenger in the Dodge was airlifted to UMMC, Jackson.

The driver of the Dodge, Macy Broussard, 75, was taken to Winston Medical Center.

The driver of the Impala, Bryce Smith, 18, of Louisville was taken to OCH in Starkville with non-life-threatening injuries.

One northbound lane was blocked while crews cleared the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
