Alleged Car Theft Turns into Drug Bust

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An alleged car theft turns into a drug bust in Houston.

On Sunday, investigators say a woman reported her car stolen to Chickasaw county deputies.

The victim claimed Josh Mixon, 35, of Houston, stole her car.

Deputies later spotted the vehicle at a residence, on County Road 39 in Houston, and arrested Mixon, who was there.

During the search, deputies recovered meth.

Mixon faces possession and grand larceny charges.
