Alleged meth and marijuana found in car

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop turned into a felony drug bust for one man.

Tishomingo deputies said they pulled over a car on Highway 25 in Belmont for improper equipment but smelled alleged marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A search of the car found alleged marijuana, methamphetamine and drug needles.

A passenger claimed ownership of the drugs.

26 year old Alexander Sparks was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Bond was not set.
