Amory Man Charged With Statutory Rape

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – A 25-year-old Amory man is accused of having a relationship with someone under the age of 16.

William Andrew Prestridge was charged with three counts of statutory rape and possession of a controlled substance.

Monroe County investigators said parents and the victim came forward to file charges.

Prestridge was not indicted.
