Amory Police Capture Suspected Copper Thief

AMORY (WCBI) – A Hatley man is nabbed by Amory Police on two counts of Breaking and Entering of a Commercial Building.

Amory officers spotted 42 year old Michael Fowler running from a Waterway Drive building on June 24th.  He was able to slip away then but left behind enough of a trail to be charged with stealing copper from that building and from another location on the same road.
Fowler is being held without bond in the Monroe County Detention Center.  He was already free on a Lowndes County bond.
