Amory shooting suspect awaits first court appearance

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – The suspect arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a motel in Amory is still awaiting his first court appearance.

19-year-old Andrew Isaac Gray from Aberdeen was charged with first-degree murder.

Amory police aren’t saying yet what led up to the shooting.

The shooting happened at the Tenn-Tom Inn.

Monroe County coroner Alan Gurley identified the victim as 32-year-old Hunter Dahlem from Hamilton.

He died at the scene. His body was being taken to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
