Video: Angel Tree Project In Final Phase

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Hundreds of children in Columbus and Lowndes County will wake up Christmas morning with all their wishes fulfilled.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Project is now in the collection phase.

Major Cheryl Phillips says all but three angels have been adopted. Workers and volunteers are now collecting toys and other items from the children’s lists.

She says they hope to begin distributing the items next week.

You can go by the Salvation Army office on Main Street in Columbus to adopt the remaining angels.
