Animal Shelter Donations Stream In

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – An area hospital gives back to the Aberdeen Animal Shelter.

Baptist Golden Triangle Hospital donated numerous hospital linens, patient gowns, and sheets to the shelter today, March 20.

The hospital can no longer use the items for their patients because they are stained, frayed, or damaged.

Instead of throwing them away, the hospital wanted to give back, to benefit the dogs and cats at the shelter.

This is an ongoing project for the hospital and the second animal shelter in the area the hospital has donated items to.

The hospital hopes their donation draws awareness to animal shelter needs.

It also encourages other businesses to donate unusable items to help homeless animals in the area.
